Importance of learning French language




Out of the several languages, French language occupies a special place in European countries and the global world. It is one of the official languages of organizations such as UN, UNESCO, International Red Cross Association, NATO and several other international agencies. French is the second most learned languages of the world after English. Let us see some of the reasons why learning French is important:

·     Learning French is a great step towards world-class education.It can open doors towards job opportunities in various sectors which includes academic, tourism, medical and translation industry.

·     French language is widely spoken across five continents. France is the second largest tourist destination which attracts millions of tourists from various parts of the world. Learning French can open doors to the art and culture of this country. You will notice that most of the famous producers of international movies are from France. Hence, if you will master and understand French, you will be able to enjoy the movies, art and culture of French people in a better way.

·    French literature has great writers and you can find some wonderfully written French novels like The Three Musketeers, Les Miserables,The Little Prince, The Stranger etc. So, if you can read and understand French, you can enjoy the original work of these authors.

·    Moreover, French has one of the strongest military in the entire world after United States and Russia. French defence system is one of the second largest in the world and this country has evolved as the second largest provider of military and civil aircrafts. At present, French soldiers are spread over more than 15 nations across the world.
